Thanks for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. Visited the Monsal Trail, Tissington, Dovedale and Ilam – all well worth visiting. We were very lucky with the weather. We had sunshine while the rest of the country had torrential rain.

Another very enjoyable and comfortable stay – some lovely late summer weather and bright moon-lit nights. Great to catch up with family and friends nearby and visit favourite places. Highlights included the rock garden at Chatsworth and a first try of the open-air baths at Hathersage. Many thanks

Hayloft has approved an ideal place to stay, both of the comfort and views and tranquility and as a base for further exploration.Kinder Scout and Jacob’s ladder were highlights, but Lathkill Dale is very charming too. Thank you so much

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hayloft. It’s a lovely, cosy getaway. We especially enjoyed watching the mower (Mo) on his daily rounds. Would really recommend the Kinder Scout walk if you’re looking for a challenging yet stunning hike. Chatsworth House and gardens are well worth a visit too :-)

We camped in Lathkil up the road, visited Bakewell. Lots of walks and cycle down Monsal trail, moved onto central and south Wales, carried on camping and back here for Chatsworth House Country Fair, a lovely end to our 2 week adventure and comfy beds, kids loved the hot chocolate and biscuits. Everything is here for what we need. Beautiful cottage with gorgeous views. We had a ‘hello’ from Alan Titchmarsh at Chatsworth today :-)
