We have a wonderful holiday at the cottage. Was an amazing location. Facilities and local amenities were amazing. We went for a family week’s holiday. There was loads of activities locally. The cottage had everything that we needed and was very clean. . we would definitely go back and recommend. The views were stunning!

A great stay in a superb location. We had a great stay with the family at Byre and Hayloft Cottages which have an amazing view of the surrounding area and are set in a superb location. The cottages are ideal for exploring all the Peak District either by car, foot or bike (they even have bike sheds to store your bikes). Marian was incredibly helpful in our booking and making sure we had all we needed. We will definitely go back.
Lovely cottage and location. Great facilities for bikes as well. Lovely walks and cycling (but tough on the legs with all the hills).
Many thanks. Hope to come again.
Byre Cottage was the perfect location for our first few days away after lockdown. Fields and sky as far as the eye can see and very few people. We visited Buxton, the Monsal Trail and Bakewell during our stay and found the cottage to be a comfortable base to return to at night. The cottage was well equipped, clean and we liked the upside-down layout – the views out of the windows are amazing in every direction.
Had the most relaxing few days here. The weather wasn’t the best but the cottage was so cosy and homely. It has everything you could possibly need. Our dog will be very sad to go too as he really loves the sheep in the field outside and sepnt most of the time watching them!
