Cleverly converted and tastefully furnished hayloft, with beautiful panoramic views over the countryside. A peaceful and restorative long weekend. Only regret was not having the pleasure of using the wood-burning stove because it was so warm inside without it!

Lovely well-equipped cottage! Reggie our Boxer was even given blankets to sit on if he went on the sofa! Comfortable beds, had the fire on every evening. We all feel super relaxed. Only disappointment was that we only had a week!

Rudhraa – I have really loved the upstairs bedroom and the view is BRILLIANT! It’s nice and cosy. The nights sleep was super comfy and I wish I could come again.
Deepak – I have really enjoyed the beautiful hills. We accidentally called out to the cows and they came straight to us! The wooden rats (note from Marian – they are only the size of mice) were really cute. My toy penguin Coloa loved it.

Another lovely stay – very comfortable and relaxing. Our usual mix of catching up with family – in Derby and Macclesfield – and visiting favourite haunts. We went to the DH Lawrence Museum in Eastwood. A bit of a trek, but very glad we made the effort.
