Hayloft Cottage reviews

Thank you for a wonderful stay in this lovely, cosy cottage (especially during during storm Ashley). Lots of cycling, walking and visiting beautiful places in the sunshine! Haddon Hall was a fantastic visit if you love history and architecture. We hope to return!!

We are lucky that we found this cottage. We just love it!! :-) It has been five days here and the weather has changed by the day by day, but we did have some great walking tours on Tuesday and had a guided tour in Nottingham – we recommend it! :-) Yesterday had a lovely afternoon tea at the Merchants Yard (Tideswell). Thanks for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. Visited the Monsal Trail, Tissington, Dovedale and Ilam – all well worth visiting. We were very lucky with the weather. We had sunshine while the rest of the country had torrential rain.

Another very enjoyable and comfortable stay – some lovely late summer weather and bright moon-lit nights. Great to catch up with family and friends nearby and visit favourite places. Highlights included the rock garden at Chatsworth and a first try of the open-air baths at Hathersage. Many thanks

Hayloft has approved an ideal place to stay, both of the comfort and views and tranquility and as a base for further exploration.Kinder Scout and Jacob’s ladder were highlights, but Lathkill Dale is very charming too. Thank you so much
