First impressions were the views are absolutely wonderful! Not too far from Bakewell, Monyash or Chatsworth. We went to Ilam, Dovedale, Tideswell, Tissington, The Oak Inn and we also cycled to the Monsal Trail!! The wood burner is very nice, very warm and sitting in here in the evening when the sun is shining through the window is just so homely! Overall very nice and peaceful. Thank you very much. Our third stay at this lovely holiday home. We have had good weather on the whole, with some warm sunshine and daffodils emerging. We extended our reach to the Manifold Valley and found some lovely villages and walks. Longnor was unspoilt and had a good coffee shop in the old Market Hall. Thank you for a warm and comfortable cottage. We will be back!

Although only 45 minutes away, has been a great stay, the cottage is so warm, -6° outside, 21° inside. The Church Inn at Chelmorton is great, proper food, good beer. Dogs have loved it :-)
