Hayloft Cottage reviews

A wonderful holiday in the sunny Peak District! Great to have use of both cottages for family and friends. An ideal location for exploring this beautiful area. A clean, relaxing, well-equipped cottage.

What a lovely ‘get away’ spent for my 60th birthday with family – the perfect spot for gorgeous long walks just minutes away. Lovely cosy cottage waking up to the most glorious views.! Loved every minute and will return. Thanks to Marian and Martin!

Lovely cosy cottage. Good base for exploring the Peak District. Good days out for preschoolers (ours are 3 and 4):

1. Chatsworth House – we didn’t go in the house, but plenty to keep little ones occupied in garden – maze, grotto, stream to walk in. Adventure playground was excellent and also a farmyard where you can get close to the animals.
2. Heights of Abraham – caves, cable car, nice outdoor play area
3. Matlock Farm Park – indoor play area is nice if it is wet and nice and quiet on a wet day! Can pet animals and also [have] pony rides

Thank you very much! We had a wonderful stay in Hayloft Cottage! Amazing location in the heart of the Peaks. We enjoyed plenty of local hikes as well as drives to Bakewell, Buxton, the Hope Valley etc. Really cosy cottage and great base to explore the stunning landscape
