Lovely cottage and everything we could want with two children and a dog. We enjoyed all the National Trust places around as well as a bike ride along the Monsal Trail – the girls loved the tunnels and the cafe at Hassop Station. A meal at the Royal Oak at Hurdlow was excellent – local produce including ale and great portion sizes for kids. We know and love the area so hope to be back soon. Thank you.

Another lovely stay and second time this year. What more can we say! Enjoyed Cock & Pullet at Sheldon also Bulls Head, Monyash. Both pubs very dog friendly.

We had a superb week – weather was perfect – sunny every day )very lucky at this time of year!) The cottage is lovely – very cosy and well equipped and very peaceful. This is our first visit to the area and we loved it – excellent walks with interesting places to visit en route e.g. Eyam and Magpie Mine Also loved the local markets – Bakewell is lovely and Chesterfield market is huge! Excellent food at the local pubs – particularly the Bulls Head be warned – the portions are enormous!
