Hayloft Cottage reviews

We had another lovely and very much needed post lockdown break at the Hayloft.
The cottage was still suitably equipped and very comfortable and the kids loved the amazing outdoor space.
Hosts were obliging as ever letting us utilise the well equipped bike lockup.

A lovely stay, in a cottage that has everything you need. Lovely to light the log burner on a wet and windy night. Nice touch that you help yourself to logs from the shed. Would highly recommend.

A second visit to this lovely cottage (August 2014 was last time). Weather was surprisingly better this time around despite storm Dennis attending. Good meals at the Red Lion, Litton and Pack Horse Inn, Little Longstone. Both dog friendly. Hope to return soon

Marian was straight on hand
With warm welcome, which was grand.

Stepped in through stable door;
Promptly felt our spirits soar;
How we love that high, beamed ceiling
And that smart, yet rustic feeling!

The pyromaniac
My husband, wasn’t slack;
Soon had the fire blazing
Lending atmos so amazing

A lofty elevation
A really top vacation
The owners do their best
To provide the ideal rest

There’s generous provision
With an eco-wise decision
So, top marks from  Ray and Claire;
Third time round will be our prayer!

Our third visit in January and our third year of snow, Flagg never fails to hit the spot. Lovely time and Desmond enjoyed his first holiday with us.

Really nice stay again. Lovely cottage and lovely view to match. Everything we needed, nice and cosy :-)
