Despite the weather “Storm Darragh” we had a wonderful weekend. Cosy and warm, also decorated for Christmas! Just what we needed before the madness of Christmas begins. We will certainly return when the weather is better as the Hayloft is just what we need in a perfect location.

So glad that we found such a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed some beautiful walks in Edale, Wetton and Dovedale. Dinner at the Royal Oak is certainly recommended. Hoping to return again next year.

We are lucky that we found this cottage. We just love it!! :-) It has been five days here and the weather has changed by the day by day, but we did have some great walking tours on Tuesday and had a guided tour in Nottingham – we recommend it! :-) Yesterday had a lovely afternoon tea at the Merchants Yard (Tideswell).
