An enjoyable few days spent at Byre Cottage. Very peaceful, comfortable and ideally located. We visited Chatsworth, Hardwick Estate and Eyam, and had lovely meals at The Church Inn, Chelmorton and the Bull’s Head, Monyash. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We’ve had a wonderful week here in beautiful Derbyshire. (I agree with Miss Bingley in “Pride and Prejudice” that “there is no finer county in England”) We even found a new candidate for Pemberley; the stunning Kedleston Hall. We’ve been blessed by perfect sunny weather. Every time we step out of the door it has been a delight to see and hear the skylarks. We thoroughly recommend the Bull’s Head for meals in nearby Monyash. This is a peaceful spot and a well equipped, comfortable cottage. We hope to return!
