A very enjoyable week. The cottage is in a super location and is comfortable and well equipped. We brought our ebikes to tour all the nearby trails and having the cycle shed was a real bonus. We cycled the High Peak Trail, Tissington Trail and Monsal Trail. This year we tried out the 8 mile ride around Carsington Water which was rather hilly and proved quite exciting with many twists and turns. Had excellent days out at Chatsworth and Crich Tramway Museum. Planning to return in the future! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

Lovely warm cottage in the cold weather. Royal Oak, Hurdlow lovely food, but don’t have breakfast beforehand. Lovely walks. Enjoyed Dovedale but don’t slip off the stepping stones!!! A really great break.
