Peak District Cottages - Two deluxe, self catering cottages

Built in the 1850's, these two barns have now been restored and converted into high quality Peak District Cottages available for week long or short break lettings throughout the year. Guests enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rural location whilst having the modern conveniences of Freesat HD TV and Superfast WiFi. Bakewell & Buxton are only 6 miles away!

Each cottage sleeps four in one twin and one double bedroom and have been tastefully appointed in order to retain as much of the original character as possible whilst ensuring a warm cosy place in which to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. Both have a large lounge with log burner, exposed oak beams and are complimented by a bright decor.

The Hayloft has a spectacular mezzanine double bedroom. The cottage is also suitable for a wheelchair with the Kitchen, Lounge, Bathroom and a twin bedroom all on one, groundfloor level.

The Byre has "upside/down" living taking advantage of the stunning views from the upstairs lounge, dining and kitchen area's.

There are slate floors with underfloor heating powered by an Eco-friendly ground source heat pump. This ensures a consistent level of regulated warmth throughout whatever the weather! Log burning stoves, with a plentiful supply of logs, are also fitted but we doubt you'll need them!
