As its name suggests, the Byre Cottage was formerly a cow shed and milking parlour.
The cow shed has now been transformed into a high quality peak district self catering cottage offering "upside-down" holiday accommodation with the Kitchen, Lounge and Dining area providing 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside.
The Byre sleeps 4 in one double room and one twin room . The bathroom is equipped with bath, shower, sink and WC and has a heated towel rail.
Heating is provided by an ECO friendly ground source heat pump system which supplies the underfloor heating system throughout. Guests often comment on the warmth of the slate floors. A wood burning stove provides the visual, cosy feel although we doubt you will need the extra warmth! (logs supplied).
For those that have to work or play, Free WiFi is provided throughout the cottage. The cottage also has a 37" HD Television with buit in Freesat providing 150 stations (TV & Radio) including all High Definition channels. A DVD player is also provided. |
